Review: " the worst " we purchased our home three years ago and the builder promised these floors were durable and easy to maintain (more so than hardwood). these are engineered hardwood floors with an extremely thin paper-like coating on each plank that started to chip and peel immediately. there is no recourse.. I also have had a problem with hallmark. installed engineered hickory product that started to peel finish at about 2 years after install. attempted to get warranty assistance but didn't get much response..
